This page describes how the website is managed with regard to the treatment of personal data of users, who use it.
This is a notice given also in accordance to the Art. 13 of the Legislative Decree no. 196 of June 30, 2003 (“Rules for the safeguard of personal data”) to anyone interacting with the web services of the Gerhò Spa via electronic means starting from the URL: which is the homepage of the official website of the company.
This notice applies only to the website of Gerhò Spa and not to other websites accessed by the user via links.
This notice is also based on the recommendation n. 2/2001 which the European Authorities for the protection of personal data, gathered in the group given by the art. 29 of the directive n.95/46/CE, have adopted on May 17th 2001 to establish minimum requirements for collecting personal data online and particularly the methods, timing and nature of the information that the holders must provide to users, when they connect to the websites, regardless of the reasons of the established connection.
Upon access of this website, data regarding to identified or identifiable people may be processed.
The "owner" of the data processing is Gerhò Spa, based in Italy, Settequerce (BZ), via Enzenberg, 24.

The data processing related to web services of this website take place at the offices of the company and its subsidiaries and are only handled by personnel in charge for the processing or by other parties appointed with occasional maintenance or appointed with a specific document as "Trustees for external data processing".
No data from the web service shall be communicated or distributed.
The personal data provided by the users, who forward requests to obtain informative material (Cd-Roms, publications, newsletter, answers to questions, etc.), shall only be used to perform the service requested and be send to third parties only in case it is needed (mailing and dispatching services).

Specific summarized information will be progressively shown or displayed on the pages dedicated to particular on-demand services.
No personal data of the users is acquired through the website.
There is no use of cookies to transmit information of personal nature, nor is there any use of any kind of s.c. persistent cookies, or user tracking systems.
The use of s.c. session cookies (which are not stored permanently on the user's computer and disappear upon closing the web browser) is strictly limited to transmitting session identifiers (consisting of random number generated by the server) necessary to enable a sage and efficient website.

According to the same article one has the right to request the cancellation, transformation of the data in anonymous data or the blocking of the data that violates the law, as well as in any case to oppose against their processing for legitimate reasons.
